You should probably review my posts. But to summarise:

- Hatsukoi: The translator was given responsibility and he understood that, then attempted to absolve himself of it.
>because Lennar made a typo
Even you said it: HE caused the problem, not me! I treated him like a responsible adult, told him it was now HIS responsibility, and HE screwed up and tried to blame me for it.

- Flyable Heart: One translator was determined to finish it even though he wasn't good at it. He didn't like the editing and wanted it "raw". Again, outside my responsibility.

- Milky Holmes: I've said this multiple times: If you just say "it's broken" and nothing more, that's something anyone can do to try to mess things up. You should probably note that I DID believe the translator when he posted an actual image of the problem, and released a build to fix it soon afterwards. "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence" - Carl Sagan.

P.S. get my gender right.

You don't have a PSP.

In fact, I have that funny feeling that you can't even play the game properly on your emulator, let alone debug anything. If you played through the game a couple of times, chances are, you would have found the bug yourself.

Read the whole thing before trying to argue with me.

The emulator works well enough for its purposes. It even has a built-in debugger. In any case it should be fixed in the latest build.

>The emulator works well enough for its purposes.

You can't play the game without the emulator crashing on you every 2 minutes. The "works well enough" is a joke, you simply can't test properly the game you are working on.

>>8450209,6
Have YOU tried it? Do YOU have the same emulator as me, with the same modifications? If YOU haven't, then don't make any claims about MY environment!!!

To be perfectly clear: The emulator does NOT crash "every 2 minutes" --- it doesn't crash AT ALL. The game does get stuck at times but tickling it with the debugger gets it unstuck again.

Also, testing is not the main job of the developers. That's for QA. All we really need is to see that it seems to work, and let you guys do the rest.

A project that stays on /jp/, one that anyone can participate in. Hongfire has these really long project threads with a similar idea. I want this to stay on /jp/ because clearly there are users on here with the skillsets, and it would be nice if /jp/ could hold its own projects without them devolving into a bunch of fighting.

I don't really care about the attention, it's just a side-effect. There are much easier ways for me to get attention if I wanted. Maybe YOU don't care whether it's a /jp/ project (or perhaps I should say it seems you DON'T want it to be one); don't drive everyone else away with your hate.

All you're doing is making it difficult to have a positive environment. I was only using Hongfire as an example of a community that can get things done; while I do not agree entirely with their policies completely, it is still a valuable lesson to take the ideas which do work.

Retardedly, MF decided to suddenly not work with my browser despite it being absolutely fine yesterday. The latest version of Firefox, not surprisingly, works. But I don't want to be forced into their stupid idea of "new features" that I have absolutely NO benefit from, and bloat (~53M for my old version with 10 tabs open. ~60M for this "new and improved" latest version with... NO tabs open.) Fuck this forced deprecation bullshit. Goddamn kids these days don't understand the importance of backward compatibility. I'm still thinking of what to do with this mess. Abandon MF? Debug their awful JS and fix it browser-side? Write my own browser?

The actual effort expended on the 2-line issue was less than 8 (wo)man-hours. I planned it to be completed before the 70% milestone and that's exactly what happened. I have no idea what you mean by "Locations alignment" but it may not be necesary to add a 4th line because there are only 2 cases where it currently has 4 lines, and they both have 1 or 2 words at the end. A bit more liberal wordwrapping could probably fix that.

Also, judging by what happened the first few threads, there is plenty of interest, only you trolls "put out the fire" with all your whiny complaining.

Simple MySQL binary replication to a separate server in a geographically disparate location. I would like to apologize for any downtime today; getting a table lock is necessary for replaying the binary log at the right coordinate -- I blame MySQL.

It occurred to me that this replication thing might be a good idea, since this other server currently isn't doing anything (it used to run fuuka before things got too hard for it). If you have any comments or concerns about how archive is run, I always welcome mail to <haha at warosu dot org>.

And almost everyone who regularly uses TeX.

>In TeX, the em dash may normally be input as a triple hyphen-minus (---).

>Corpus studies indicate that em dashes are more commonly used in Russian than in English.

I don't torture myself writing LaTeX in real life.

Most people use double en dash to simulate em dashes. From the very same article you quote:
>Typewriters often only have a single hyphen glyph, so it is common to use two monospace hyphens strung together (--) to serve as an em dash.

>When an actual em dash is unavailable—as in the ASCII character set—a double ("--") or triple hyphen-minus ("---") is used.

This is the mapping I use:
- = hyphen
-- = en-dash
--- = em-dash
