Alright, let me get this straight.

Everyone here watches anime, reads manga, draws anime/manga, buys anime figurines/clothes/pillows/video games, make japanese food, write about anime, pretty much just be 100% weeaboo.

But how many of you actually speak Japanese or have been to Japan?

Plenty of people fluent in Japanese here, some have been over at the country, mostly for Comiket as the userbase here generally cares more about the media produced there than the actual nation and its culture.

I will have two doctorate degree's by age twenty-five, owe zero debts, and make more money a year than you will in a lifetime. The funny thing is, this is the average /jp/ browser. There are many who far surpass me.

Outside of video games (of which most aren't even Japanese), I do none of that. My Japanese is shitty at best, and I've only really ever wanted to go to Japan once.
