I just found out in this kurovadis when I lvl I can add stat points....ATK and DEF makes sense, but what is CON and CHG?

CON = Constitution.
CHG = Charging speed of superpunch/gun (?)

DEF is the single most important stat. Spike damage scales to your HP pool, but DEF lowers it. With high enough DEF enemies only do 1 damage.

if that conc was put in from levels (and not pickups) yes.

The reason you are dying on the boss is because there is a trick.

Shoot the generators to drop his shield then jump on his head and push down + V ... you will punch his skull in for 200 damage a hit and this is how you are suppose to beat him, he can't hit you back.
