日本語は外に閉じた言語（外国人にとって学びにくい言語）で、それを助長
しているのが漢字である。漢字を減らしてひらがな・カタカナ・ローマ字
で表記すべきだというのが本書の内容。漢字は知識人のもので、庶民を馬
鹿にした反動的な文字だという考え方が諸所に顕れている。このような議論
は明治維新や太平洋戦争が終わった時に漢文の反動性を非難するのと同時
に行なわれたもので、話題としては新しくない。東南アジアからきた看護
士希望の人々が国家試験の際に難解な漢字のために、合格できない現状を漢

た胡適がそれを文語で書いていたのと同じだ。著者はモンゴル語の専門家で
ある。中国の帝国主義によって弾圧され続ける内モンゴル自治区などの状
況に思いをはせた時、漢民族の象徴である漢字に対して憎悪の念がふつふ
つと湧いてきて、この書を書かせたのかもしれない。穿った見方であるが、
可能性は無いとも言えない。著者には、晩節を汚さないためにも、もう少
し冷静な議論をしてもらいたい。

I think it would be easier if, instead of completely removing kanji, they just took all the kanji that have the same main radical, and simplified the rest of all of them to be essentially the same. 精晴清, for example, would have all have the left side replaced by a little squiggle or something.

simplifying or making it more complex? This "left part" is the kanji for "blue". If you just exchange it for another mark, them readers will have to remember two simbols for "blue", instead of one. Of course you can change the original kanji itself too. But then you need to change around 200 radical kanji. All of them have been used and tested for centuries. The new ones will be better than then?

There was a time when retards decided they didn't need no Kanji and tried doing it, but it is retardedly hard to understand where the splits are since they don't split words in Japanese. That being one of the main reasons why they called the anti-kanji movement retarded, because the anti-kanji activists hadn't given a decent alternative.

Top bit:

means the frog loves a beautiful woman.

The second bit, I am not completely sure, but I think reads something like :
カエルと受をしましょう。
"The frog is received." (Not sure if sexual or not...)

Japanese should replace all kanji with cursive forms so it goes with hiragana better. It's too dissonant to have a blocky kanji like 喜 and then a curvy hiragana like び. Just a thought.
