Gumi is not a an easy to use vocaloid and some of her samples are unclear but she is realistic.

VY2 is the most realistic vocaloid his samples even have breathes in the notes to create more realistic sounds and the VY series is supposed to be easy to use

It wasnt originally going to be his design (VY's were designless) it was a character entered in the "Everyone's vocaloid" contest and won a runner up prize of being the mascot for the VY2 software.
