Imagine the following, anon. Gensokyo is very much real, and due to Yukari's power momentarily waning, a gate/gap into Gensokyo now lays open.

This is not exactly good, since the vast natural richness of it are quickly becoming the target of private interests groups who will make of it an industrial zone. Should the portal remain open, magic and mysticism will once again become part of human life, along with the night terrors that haunt the night, borne of humanity's fears and imagination. Incursions into the land of the dead and Hell to attempt to reclaim loved ones is also a possibility.

Would you close the border, sealing yourself and everybody else outside of it forever, or would you let it remain open?
