Does it really matter either way if the content is auto-flagged as potentially offensive content?
What kind of Vtuber turns that filter off when searching?

Unless...

The downsides of posting with a tripcode on, you can't just hide behind anonymity if you fuck up badly.

Same with art really, because people recognize you from your art.

You are right. I guess I should have read further than "hate their fans", my bad. But anyway I think I've said all I have to say.

>because they: Hate their fans, hate their old work, are lazy, and/or want more interaction with their fans.
Now you are just pretending to be retarded on purpose. Fuck off and kill yourself. This discussion is going nowhere.

I am doing fine checking all the day's worth of art from all of my favorite artists. I do it twice a day on the average and it takes about a few minutes to go through.
And yes, you are supposed to follow people to catch their posts and retweets. The normal viewing experience is based on checking your feed.

If this is such a herculean task for you, then it is clearly your problem.

Twitter is not a gallery site. It's a social media site where plenty of artists happen to enjoy posting their stuff.
You are supposed to catch the new art as it comes, not fucking search it.

They don't give a damn about your inane complaints. Besides, Twitter isn't THAT inconvenient to use. Use Tweetdeck and be active. Filter the unnecessary stuff.

My discussions with other artists suggests otherwise, but okay.

You only think from the viewer's perspective. If you really want to understand why artists do as they do, then you should consider the artists' viewpoints first and foremost.
Many artists start getting more or less shy and hesitant once they become popular and famous. I am sure this the reason why a lot of artists eventually delete their accounts and art after they get too much attention. They can't stand looking at their old art because they feel guilty and inappropriate.

It can be pretty nerve wracking to have over 10,000 people breathing on your neck. It can be difficult to have the courage to continue producing your beloved content like the way you used to. Or perhaps the artist feels obligated to continue producing the content their fans love long after the artist's own interests have diluted to insufficient levels.

Social media doesn't necessarily equate the desire for interaction. Some people just wanna micro-blog (tweet) and update their statuses and daily experiences. Twitter has been successful because its whole concept was based around limiting the users, most notably the message character count.

I think a proper gallery often feels too formal for some of one's own works. Twitter also doubles as a social media site that is widely used but isn't as bad like Facebook.
Third reason would be because others - including a lot of officials - already use it.
>>15722043
Fourth; because it is obscure and awkward to navigate through. It kind of works like a natural filter for the audience/followers.

No. I was of course disappointed when she didn't win, but mad? Nah.

There have been some unfounded rumors about me raging like crazy and wasting a huge amount money on that game, but that's not true. I only spent $20 dollars on it and mildly enjoyed it. The end.

I'm always looking for an opportunity to get excited about Touhou again, but I feel like there has not been much of a spark for the last year or two sadly. I barely even have a reason to visit /jp/ anymore. Maybe the next official game or some fan creation will change that, hopefully.

No, you think too far about that.
They are nice OC chraracters (that also happen to be sort of "avatar characters"), and in my case personifications of some of my favorite features characters design wise, but you should be able to tell the difference between real people and fictional characters.

Some Pixiv draw-chat stuff drawn by me, made in the company of fellow IRCers in Nanoha's room.

I highly recommend trying out that Pixiv's chat room drawing tool, it has a pretty good feel to it despite being such a simple binary tool.
