I once spent a week in bed.
Since then, I've several times spent an entire week not seeing or hearing another human being, even on a TV screen or over the phone.
I have both the original Japanese and the english translated versions of nearly all my favorite manga, so I can go back and check the translation on some sentences.
Although I have friends, I usually lie to them in order to stay in the house.
I was a virgin at 24, and had never kissed a girl.
I have actual store-purchased CDs of Touhou project music in my CD player now.
I don't play shmups much; they're not my thing.
I'll spend hours procrastinating to avoid making a telephone call, even if it's just to a credit card company.

I'm going to bed. With a plush Hatsune Miku. On sheets that haven't been washed in at least two months, and on a bed that hasn't been made in at least one month.

Y'see, I was looking for an EASY way to get rid of the stuff and get it a good home.

...and to be honest, MOST of it is loli. About 30% is generic porn. The most expensive part is the loli games.

So if you don't want a bunch of loli and a bunch of loli games, it's effort on both our parts and I'm still stuck with most of the stuff. It's not radioactive or anything; at that point I may as well hang on to it until an easy way comes along. ...or until I magically become a person who is better at moon and who likes getting a windows machine to run these games.

I applaud the lack of greed of my compatriots. I'm only recently learning to have said lack of greed. ...and in the mean time, I have stacks of stuff to get rid of (I got rid of all my VHS fansubs in the dumpster only a week ago. VHS? Like I'm gonna watch that again. (Well I kept six, actually...)

Good things about this state:

It's fairly liberal about weirdness (gay marriage and all that)
There are some good western restaurants (Town, Casablanca, Bombay)
You can get some adequate Japanese food here (Shirokiya, Coco Ichibanya Curry house, ...and I haven't found anything good yet but have some bookmarked places to try.)
Plane flights to Japan are cheap?
It doesn't snow or get over 100 degrees or below sixty ever.
If you can be bothered to look at it, the scenery can be pretty.

Down sides:
Leaving is a bitch.
Education is terrible here, which means lots of dumb people. (sorry, locals; many of you are awesome and nice. ...but not many of you are smart.)
There aren't actually that many good restaurants.
When the economy has been on a downswing for a while, it REALLY shows in the tourist states.
The japanese food with added 'local flava' is terrible.

Meh. I'm happier here than I would be living in Phoenix, Dallas, Jacksonville, or Vegas, I suppose.

So I have a few dozen H manga, most still in the shrink wrap and a large amount of it Loli, that I picked up in bulk in Japan when I was living there.

I also have several untranslated H games, many of which are loli, and all of which are still new in box.

My beloved doesn't go through my porn shelves (she knows better) but still, I am obviously not reading/playing these (it's too much work, and I prefer the 'relax in a cafe and read the manga that's already there' style) and I want to free up shelf space.

...and these were expensive (I bought them because I was leaving Japan, and I knew I'd have a hard time getting this kind of thing in Hawaii, and was afraid I'd miss them. ...but I just use the internet when I'm here.)
