As you see, the definition is quite vague.
"troll" or act of "trolling" at least in current day has a negative undertone to it.
Therefore, the ones without evil intents are not really considered trolls.

How do you distinguish their intention. Let say if a "troll" is telling the truth, can he still be trolling? If the intention is bad, it is considered bad, but there's almost no way to tell why the user is doing it.

Only way may be due to looking through the "troll history. But especially in place like 4chan, where anonymity is rampant, it makes it even more difficult.

Therefore, trolling would in 4chan's sense, straying away from the norm of the board.

hey /v/ though my time there was short, i'll be back there. once it expires. I took a liking to you guys. You guys are more fun than /a/, without spamming hatred every post.

If that's the case, why don't you stop posting? You r feeding the troll.

if your not going to discuss, just hide this thread.

You don't need to show it through moving images. You show through their action, response, reactions. etc.

Not "there are 3 types of ...."
Having those once in awhile is okay. But they get awfully long.

If i wanted to create a troll thread, i can pick a better way and not write paragraph per post. Notice how i'm the one doing most of the writing in this thread? Ya. usually that's not an indication of a troll, rather someone who actually wants to discuss.

Even though i hardly ever come here, I can spot a newfag when I see one. And you clearly are.

But while they explained the fantasy elements, it felt like i was watching them through a telescope of their world.
Their fantasy world didn't blend in.

Good writing shows, instead of tells. I think talking about concept is what weaker pieces of literature do.

ie. Spirited away. While i saw that movie, everything flowed. Not for a second did i doubt what i was seeing. and Miyazaki showed the rules of their world. Instead of having 20 min session and telling it to us. that is awfully boring. It's like a lecture.

Oh, i wasn't talking about YMK. im talking about fate stay night.

what makes it exactly good. Plot isn't that impressive, pacing is weak. Music was okay, so was character development. But overall,i felt like it was one of the weaker pieces.

Judging by how people are reacting, I'm taking /jp/'s consensus is FSN is good?
Only VN i really liked was Yume Miru Kusuri. Even the sex scenes flowed.

my bad if it looked like I was trolling. I tried this discussion on /a/ and not enough people played to give me a proper response of the general.

i was wondering what /jp/ thought of it, b/c honestly you guys play more VN

hey /jp/ I have a question.

Maybe, it's b/c Type-moon VNs are not my cup of tea, but is it just me that finds Fate/stay night extremely boring?
Not just FSN, but Tsukihime too.

Tsukihime's fight scenes are soo tedious, it drives me crazy. Other aspect was interesting enough.

But FSN.... It doesn't end, they dont stop talking about some weird concept i couldn't care less about, etc etc.

I loved VN like Clannad, Utawarerumono (despite too many fuck scenes), Saya no Uta, etc etc.

I don't know why this company is so overrated.
