I've never gathered all my figures together in a single room before for a picture. The most i ever do is gather parts of the collection for themes (dog girls, cat maids, Horo with guns,etc).

(Someone always bitches about the wood paneling, that is a basement storage room. Renovations are still ongoing and that is a convenient area to unpack and display figures).

And it turns out it wasn't broken. The tip is a seperate piece that was meant to be glued in place by the end user. Many other pre-painted gathering figures have small pieces that sometimes need to be glued in place like this.

I have another gathering catgirl who's ahoge hair piece was like this. It is a seperate piece that needed to be glued on bcause it would not have survived shipping.

This finally arrived today. Paint wasn't bad considering it was from the "Gathering" bootlegs.

This was really over-packaged. Every individual piece, from clothing accessories to the little white bits of fur that go in her inner ear... all came in individual bags.

I was eating cereal at noon today, eagerly waiting for the mailman to drop off some guns that I ordered.

When the package arrived it was just a box of my comics and a kuroneko figure. My comic shop just couriers my comics to me because I don't like going downtown anymore due to parking and perpetual road construction. They have my Visa on file and every two-three weeks (when it hits $100+ in comics) they just charge me and ship them to my house.

I used to have a whole folder of screenshots and videos of fafnir/nidhogg drama. FFXI end game for the first few years was the equivalent of heavily armed urban gangs fighting over very limited resources. Everyone had this irrational hatred of everyone else.

Due to the nature of FFXI they could not directly attack each other so exploits were constantly explored. God I loved those Darters and the mischief they were capable of...

But the best was when someone would finally get the dream gear they wanted and immediately leave the LS and join a rival, and announce how much they fucking hated being in that LS for the past 9 months.... The only reason they didn't quit before was because they had been next in line for their trinket for so long.

Dynamis and ground kings always brought out the worst in people.
