I think I spent more time on searching for and installing Oblivion mods than I spent on playing the game itself.
And even the mods didn't manage to make me like Oblivion.

Yeah, finding a suitable place is a problem. I only know of Steam, since I haven't taken part in any communities other than 4chan for a long time now.

Every time I tried some /jp/ community outside 4chan, it was filled with the kind of people you'd find on facebook.
I hope some day there will be one that consists of the nice and kind anons that I see here.
But they would probably be too shy to join so it's most likely impossible.
