Oh. Everything is tiny on 1080 though...

OP's is fullscreened. Can't you see how everything looks blurry? Also horrible black borders.

Oh, that'll probably be my piss-poor resolution kicking in then. My bad. I guess it has its advantages.

>> No.6700447 [View]

Why the fuck would you play in full screen? I can't bare the blurry shit and borders.

>> No.6274703 [View]

I would say something good... but really, most people are fucktards. Especially triptards. Seriously, I despise the term 'tripfag', but it sure is fitting with the bulk of the shitposting morons. There are a few gems, though.

But hey, here's something for you, /jp/. I sometimes find your dry and witty sarcastic humour HILARIOUS on occasion.

I'm sure hoping. That it won't bomb. I would buy it were I Japanese, just because it's so amazingly polished by visual novel standards. I know there's stuff that has '3D' visuals, but I don't really think it can top a good ol' 50 hour+ quality VN like Umineko.
>>6151658
Oh. I never thought of that. I was wondering why MangaGamer removed music on Higurashi. But yeah, that would totally fucking blow.

>> No.6151651 [View]

Well, it won't be the same at all. From what we've seen so far, there's all these animations, CGs and different placement of the text, at the bottom, rather than all over the screen. Looks like a vast improvement from what I've saw, nothing like just a port to 720, which is good. It's 1080, actually from what I've saw as well. I bet the CG will be fucking delicious.

That face looks fucking awful. Sure is retarded comical eyes. My only gripe with the new sprites.

>> No.6151366 [View]

I'm going to buy it, even though I can't read it. I'll also rip it and put it on BitGamer, for any other Seacat friends.

I just loved it all. When I knew how it was going to end as well, I just got very sad. I don't know why. I guess it's not the forced space AIDS crying at least.

Well I highly recommend it. It's my favourite visual novel. Made me cry like a bitch a lot, and was in general an interesting story with a great atmosphere earlier on. Atmosphere starts to degrade into pseudo-science powerlevels shit near the end, but it's still amazing in my opinion.

Fine. I'll tell you why I disliked it. I thought it was a pretty simple slice of life visual novel. I got up to the first ero scene with Kirari, and I dropped it. It was just BORING for me. There wasn't anything interesting, it was just kids in a high school with some shenanigans. I didn't like any characters. But hey, if you enjoy it, good for you, I just seriously fucking didn't.
>>6146921
I could have enjoyed the band atmosphere, but mixed along side crappy characters (MY OPINION) and generic punk rock, it got stale. Some parts like the whole swearing in English was fucking funny, though.
>>6146930
Hey, my opinion man. Respect it, like how I respect yours instead of saying your taste is shit because you like Kira Kira.

Chaos;Head. But I'm not saying it's bad because Manga Gamer translated it, I'm saying they don't translate GOOD visual novels, as with both Manga Gamer and JAST. They just translate crappy slice of life ero games.

>> No.6146884 [View]

Kira Kira was an awful visual novel, in my opinion. But I guess that's MangaGamer for you.

You really should. I started playing Dwarf Fortress as a joke like a week after finishing all the videos. I love WATCHING them videos, but I just wasn't interested in playing DF, but it really is great if you get into it.

Game looks good with a nice pack like Phoebus. Link in my post above with the 'Lazy Newb Pack V4.3'

I also, was not a big fan of the ASCII, but with a tileset, shit is pretty good.

Yes, you should. It's brilliant. I know some of /jp/ plays Minecraft, and DF shares a few similarities, only DF makes the gameplay of Minecraft seem shallow in comparison.

1. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR ACCOUNT NAME\Application Data\Nitroplus\CHAOS;HEAD\1.00

2. rename 'common' and 'images' or move them somewhere safe

3. download and extract http://www.mediafire.com/?mgw2ofwdrgm to '1.00'

4. Create a new folder in '1.00' for the B end save, such as '0005' if you have 4 saves already.

5. download http://www.mediafire.com/?ztydjbizmmi and extract it to the save folder you just created

6. load the game from the save slot corresponding to your folder

The save is at the beginning of chapter 10, you can skip until you get to
Spoiler
which is where it starts branching off.

Just found it with a nice Google search.

There was one somewhere on Hongfire. I spent several hours last time trying to find it. But yeah, just search around there.

Quality visual novel. My favourite of all time, in fact. If you're on the wall with reading it, I really recommend it. As with most visual novels, there is a point where the pacing gets crappy and it gets boring, so I did get bored about 1 hour mid-way, but then shit gets real and it's all good.

I know a lot of people dislike the endings, but I thought they were pretty good endings. They certainly made me cry a lot, but that's also probably down to how everything in Chaos;Head clicked with me.
