I have this book, it's pretty entertaining but not the best learning tool. Heisig's method is better if you're aiming for the 1000+, but just rote learning the kanji in JLPT order works fine.

am I the only one who thought that the hurr random sex scene at the end kinda ruined it? Loved the game overall though, great premise AND it didn't completely turn into a generic eroge within an hour.

I always thought the way to go for an umineko tv series would be to cut down on the mysticism stuff, namely all the big "this is how the magical world works" type stuff, and concentrating more on the logic discussions.
