/jp/ - Otaku Culture

I'm a mecha, galge (usually non-ero), JRPG, fighting game, expert-level anime, and shit-tier* manga nerd. (You can insert otaku if you like. I've personally fallen out favor with the word.) I'm well-rounded in my tastes.

I'm also really big into gunpla, and I'm working on expanding my garage kit, fig, and anime collectibles collection. I'm also a sucker for limited-edition items.

*Thus far, I've only read JJBA and Neuro in manga form. I should get into it more.

I'm moving to a single room next quarter. I'm sick and tired of dealing with him dicking around with the television at full volume at three in the morning. And I already have a single lined up for next year, too. Quite frankly, I don't know how he hasn't failed out yet.

And a wider shot of my room at its absolute worst. 98% of the time, it's better, but when I get a couple new kits, I tend to bypass cleaning in order to work on them.

Hey, OP, we have the same PG RX-78-2, Unicorn Gundam, and Saber figurine. Awesome.

For the most part, I don't. However, I do set up little roleplay events or recreate scenes (I mainly have gunpla). I've had my PG RX-78-2 go up against my HG 1/60 Exia, for example, and did the ever popular PG Gundam vs PG Char's Zaku battle.

I'm thinking of having a match of broken mechs once I finish my MG Strike Freedom: Full Burst Mode kit. Strike Freedom vs the Turn-A. Shit'll be awesome.

Hm, interesting. I've been looking for a curry mix that retains a relatively 'pure' flavor, but isn't especially spicy. Given that I tend to like curry, but have an exceptionally low tolerance for spicy food, it's a bit of a hindrance if I want to have some on any given day. Thus far, I haven't had much luck. I may have to end up making a mix on my own.

Mmmm... Curry. Although I'm not quite sure what differentiates Japanese-style curry from, say, beef stew with rice, aside from a different powder for the gravy.

Yeah, I live in Milwaukee. I go to the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and I indeed do know of it, but I have yet to go there. I'm planning to go this Friday to pick up some more gunpla. I heard they have a PG Wing Zero Custom for eighty bucks. I don't know if the person who told me was shitting me or not, but he used to work there and I trust him a bit. If it is indeed there, I will thoroughly enjoy it.

On a similar note, does anyone know how I can go about changing my analog sensitivity? I'm using one of those adapters to hook up my PS2 controller to my laptop, and even slightly nudging one of the analog sticks one way registers, leading me to do moves I don't want.

Well, I just passed the point where Suzushiro just kicked the snot out of Liesel, so I don't quite know how much more I have left to go in the game... However, I am hoping for a good end for Chris and Arata.

I've just upgraded from playing the original MB. I'm certainly not new to fighting games, with my expertise being in Guilty Gear (Awesome Tier). I heard MB was similar, and so I thought I'd give it a shot. I just can't quite get a hold of those long-ass air combos, though, which is why I was doing a lot of Ciel's 2CC attacks to attempt to launch you into the air, trying to practice.

Also, if you noticed I ended up throwing the Black Keys and using Ciel's Specials a lot, it usually happened by means of my controller being a bit too sensitive. Fun games, though.
