Looks like Camp Hansen on Okinawa.

There are a lot of stores here in Okinawa with real snakesin sanshin. I don't know the legalities of exporting them from Japan, but I'd like to own one myself so I'll research it a bit and make another thread on it later.

>South Korea and the United States are traditionally regarded as allies but more recent organizations direct their criticisms against these countries too.

My wife tells me that the ones here in Okinawa seem to be fairly pro-US military.

These guys are annoying as fuck, but at least they support the US military (aka me).

That won't make a difference really. If you do air traffic control, you will get a choice of East Coast US, West Coast US, or Overseas (Mailand Japan or Okinawa), and they typically give you the one you request. You can come here straight away, but to be honest, it's better to have a few years in and at least be a Sergeant (E-5) or above before you request to come here. If you're a Corporal (E-4) or below, you must have a liberty buddy to go off base, for example. It pretty much sucks thanks to the dumbasses who have screwed up international relations for us by raping school girls.

I'm 5'8", 140lbs, and I can run 3 miles in 21 minutes, do 100 crunches in less than 2 minutes, and do about 15 pull-ups. I started at 1 pull-up, 45 crunches, and unable to even run a half a mile at a time, but all that stuff will improve quickly as you go through boot camp.

I've been to Iraq already, and it was a simple matter of talking with my monitor, who is the guy who assigns people to the appropriate duty location, to get orders to come out here to Okinawa. Also, I'm an air traffic controller. I don't run around playing soldier all day; instead, I organize and expedite the flow of air traffic into and out of my air station. It's a great job not only because I stay in nice, air-conditioned environments no matter where I go, but also because the money I can earn on the civilian side of this job is great.

Don't worry, I laughed. Oh yeah, we're still on a midnight to 5am curfew because of that incident. So much for being able to take a weekend trip and stay overnight on one of the other islands in the vicinity ;_;

Yes, it was worth it. Since I'm in the military, I was able to get orders to Marine Corps Air Station Futenma on Okinawa, Japan. After being here for 2 years, I'm married to a beautiful Japanese lady and having a great time.

Your mileage, however, may vary, you weaboo faggot.

Just follow the fucking rules set forth by the UCMJ and your command, and especially by the Japanese government. People who can't follow simple instructions are why we get put on lockdown for weeks on end. It'd be better to just fry the assholes who ruin it for us here in Japan.

Mai Japanse Waifu and I agreed that if we have a girl, we will give her a Japanese name. She thinks 凛南 is a good name, and I agree with her; for one, it's a rare name. Also, it has a cute-and-cool kind of feeling. If we have a boy, we will give him an American name, as Japanese boys' names are pretty much crap.

I sure hope not. It would suck to live on a huge set of islands with no nice beaches.
