That's true. FMP's light novels were placed right next to the mango, but that's mainly because it was published by TokyoPop I thought. Yen Press is a subcompany of a more reputable normal book publisher, Hatchet.

He was. Now he's stuck in a timeloop world with only the radio transmissions he makes sporadically escaping into the normal world. Somehow his friends were able to see him while he was sleeping.

Somehow cicadas are being fucking annoying again too. Perhaps it's a gradual thing, or perhaps he's back in the normal world at the end of the game.

I assumed he was pulled back into their world somehow, due to the sound of the cicadas when the screen brightens and the completed antenna appears. The cicadas didn't sound when Taichi was in the "other" world.
