I never said anything about being accepted. I do not expect to be accepted beyond as the foreigner guy. Its not like I am leaving anything behind. If you are on /jp/ you are probably similar to me. I will be doing the same thing only difference is I will have more and more variation than you. I already promised myself I would not fall for a Japanese girl because I am in japan for the moe and no woman will take that from me.

I do not know what soo many people think white people are not accepter in japan. 2/3rds of gaijin in japan are chinese but I hear the white people in japan are treated very well. but I I am not I do not care. I will just be moving from 1 hell to a hell with more loli.

anime is created in japan in japanese language. in my opinion subs are just as bad as dubs. if you are reading subs you might as well just read the manga. but in english even the manga is inaccurate. there are tons of jokes and puns that do not even get a TL not in english. one I remember is in an early episode of index they say church and it is mistake for a study group because they are homonyms in Japanese but there was not any hint to in the subs on the one I downloaded.

I am sure anyone here could do it with some effort. instead of just watching something you are passionate about you should get as close as you can. to the impossible break the unbreakable. I was in the same phase of hating japan and acting like it was evil just because I felt it was impossible to get to a while back also. There will be some but all the japanese people I met are cool. in the last 10 years discrimination in japan has decreased drastically
