I see what you did there, OP, and I approve.

It's getting its mileage in /tg/ right now.

Thought so. It's the only one from the lineup featured in EFZ that I haven't tried yet.

I'm willing to forgive KyoAni if they ever adapt this into an anime in the future.

...Isn't that MOON?

I always wanted to play it, but never had the time. Maybe someday.

You're doing it wrong.

Grease the palms of trapos, or cozy up with their kids. With a little patience and a lot of utang ng loob, you'll have the whole scene under your thumb in due time, at both sides of the law, even.

And the Morality Brigade are all those mindless fundies grasping at spiritual straws. Mainstream RC church don't really give a shit what you do outside the church as long as you keep quiet, don't make a ruckus, and donate a lot.

It'll teach you bad playing habits.

Then again, I started with PoFV (it was the newest Touhou game at the time, so I had an excuse) before working backwards, so I'm no authority in 1cc Touhou Expert.

Wait, seriously? You missed last week's Internet Blackout protest? People were protesting Prop 92A, a law supposedly passed to protect creator rights in the internet originally, but ended up being a blanket rule that covers anything illegal under the sun.

There's a reprieve, the law won't take effect until March.

Ohshi--

That's not fair. Anyone would want to bone any characters voiced by Yukari Tamura.

Well, that's too bad. I'm sure they're still in /rs/, though.

OP is probably from New Zealand. There's a new internet law that had Kiwis up in arms over. tl;dr version - you get reported 3 times for breaking the law (note "reported", not "proven guilty", so anyone can just pass to the proper authorities that you've been looking at CP, and that's one strike for you), ISP cuts your internets.

I think the Windows version is "True Love '95". I haven't tried the dos version, but I hear that it's exactly the same game in content.

>>2130306

Also, pulling the "I'm Not Wapanese" card, eh? Not an excuse. You're in 4chan. Even before /jp/ existed, people were discussing these games in other boards. Plus, most of the recent visual novels discussed here don't have English translations either. Otherwise, why all the Nitro+ and Alicesoft love?

...I guess you don't know that every single title I've mentioned had an anime adaption (with varying levels of ero included). Even if they're dated by now (as in, Urotsuki Douji-level dated), it's still worth checking out.

I'm probably the only Koihime fan in /jp/, if not the entire western-speaking audience.

And Dokyusei, Sentimental Graffiti, Orange Road Saga and Melty Lancer (I can't believe I forgot about to mention the last two games, they were awesome, but like Dragon Quest 4, they were more strategy games than dating sims) are light on the Japanese during gameplay parts, so it's not like it's that difficult to play through. And even if you know Japanese, the early games were ridiculously hard to get the good ends, such as Dokyusei and it's exact step-by-step actions needed to get a specific end (even with a walkthrough in hand, it's very easy to mess up), or Tokimeki Memorial's time-based events (oh, the joys of having the girls you didn't date literally sabotaging your efforts of pursuing your target girl).

>> No.2130091 [View]

Goddammit, and here I was, reading through 100+ posts just to see if anyone had played Koihime (the original youkai girl game, kids), The Island, Sentimental Graffiti, or the Dokyusei series so we could compare notes. I feel so alone...

They should bring back and refine the RPG elements in True Love. The choose-your-own stat gain made for plenty of replays. Then again, I've played through Dragon Knight 4 (the unavoidable ONE TRUE END was a gyp), so I'm more of a strategy gamer.
