As someone who personally idolizes Miku, I'll express why:

Miku to many people represent unbarred creativity and expression. Anyone can create a song with Miku, so anyone can use her to express ideas or viewpoints that would have never gotten out there without her. Many fans and producers say she is a voice for those without voices.

She is also a vessel which a community is built around, where anyone can contribute to the movement in some way (art, video, music, writing, singing, even merely sharing and spreading). Miku connects people and allows them to share work and add to projects and ideas, like someone designing an MMD for their favorite song.

I think the people who romanticize these ideas idolize Miku. The people who believe Miku to be their waifu may believe these things, but they may also be attracted to the endless personalities she has, a specific meaningful one, or simply think shes cute/hot.

I think female Jap singing is nice, and in basically autistic, so that proves this wrong.

Technically, no. But it is widely accepted that .9999... is synonymous with 1, even among math professionals.

A major player in this reasoning is:
1 - .9999... = .0000...

Just to be clear, I think it's dumb too, but that's how even professionals see it.

I'm trying to eat pineapples even though I don't like them because they say it makes your cum taste better. I still can't tell the difference, but I'll keep at it.

I only have the special tin and official hardcover guide. The artbook is all I need to feel complete.

I was thinking about getting the PC version (I have the PS3). Is it worth it with that GFWL bullshit? I hate GFWL so much.

I forgot they changed directors or something.I hope he doesn't change too much, but I believe he has the same views as the original.

I love Dark Souls, I'm thinking about picking up the artbook when I have a little more cash.

Also looking forward to the announcement. I hope the game brings back some elements of Demon's Souls.

I didn't like it.

The lack of a mp system and lack of defined class roles make battles seem spammy. Some claim positioning and tactics make up for this, but battles are so fast paced, I can't imagine effect coordinating in battle.

The neutered skills system removed the enjoyment of building your character. They force skills that you dislike onto you, and make you build your character through linear choices. It's a struggle to find skills you enjoy.

The game doesn't promote cooperation. You're automatically grouped with everyone around. No one talks or parties or tries to be your friend. In fact, it's almost uncomfortable inviting people to parties since they're... just unecessary.

There's nearly no exploration either, you're plainly told where to go, what level range is suggested, and where the quests are. It's not exploring if you know before hand what's there. You're put on rails and guided from start to finish.

We have official manga and books which give a lot of detail and interaction between the characters.

That doesn't matter anyway though, content is content, official or doujin. There is a ton of content for Touhou; a lot to discuss, with more content every year. You can't compare it to KS.

Tapping shift centers Myon under Youmu, shooting straight up. Abusing this makes the team much easier to use.

If you deem me one, I suppose.

I still perfer to be at home, and go straight there after work and go hungry simply because I don't want to leave my room to go to the store. But I don't mind grabbing lunch or catching a movie with my co-workers once in a while. I actually played monopoly with one and his girlfriend on Friday.

I still read VNs, listen to doujin music, and watch anime (via my phone) even while in public. I'd say I'm less a normalfag, and more some who doesn't care to hide or be embarrassed.

That is to say, I don't shove my hobby in their faces, but I do answer questions.

I'm someone who went from socially awkward NEET/hikki to having a full time job thanks to some string pulling from my grandpa.

When I first started, it was difficult. I didn't understand why people tried talking to me, or why I was promoted to have friends in the workplace. It took a few months, but I eventually opened upto my co-workers and now I understand. I can't really put it into words, but, it's very important you seem like someone other co-workers will like to be around.

And, just so you guys know, it's no secret I'm an otaku. My co-workers know I watch anime, collect figurines, go to conventions, masturbate to hentai, and am a virgin. A few are genuinely interested, and ask me questions about it. Some have even seen my room and thought it was cool, my figurines were artistic, ect.

Sure, there's a joke every so often, and I used to take them to heart, but you realize they joke about everything and really don't give a shit at the end of the day.

That's what's important: adaptability. You can't have some atfitude that you're perfect and don't need to change. We can all stand to improve ourselves, and knowing you have to without being negative about it is the key.

I'm divertong 10% of my paychecks into my 401k, at the moment. When I get a good amount, I'll borrow out of it and invest it in a few stocks, and use the interest from stocks to pay off the interest from my loan.
