As for statement on Gensokyo, I feel an overwhelming urge to correct you. The reason you do not see any males in any of the games, is because Danmaku battles are seen as a very feminine form of battle, and no male Youkai would ever take part in something like that.

The furthest I've ever cleared has been scraping by a 1CC of EOSD for the extra stage. That is the only extra stage I have unlocked. I get stuck on stage four on most of the titles, with stage 2 being completely unclearable for me on SA. Parsee is a cruel girl.
