The fury-inducer is that the Remi and Sakuya are sold out, and that once again these damn dolls have eluded my grasp.

Also, they're not any cheaper than they used to be. Although they are cheaper in general because they're being sold by an honest website and not by some jackass on ebay scalping them for $200 a pop.

I don't really use DA because I like it...I just use it because it's a well-known place that I can show off my work without having to go through a lot of hassle.
The throngs of idiots aren't so bad, really. I generally only deal with obscure stuff, so that keeps the really bad ones away. Occasionally someone comes around that's like "omg maek me one plzz!!!!", but that's to be expected and it doesn't really bother me. I figure if someone really wants to commission me, they'll handle it like a civilized person.

Yeah, I know my prices are kinda steep compared to the dolls on the OP's site, but keep in mind that those are professionally done, as opposed to being hand-sewn by one dude with an old hand-me-down sewing machine. That and my dolls are like 2 feet tall - hell, you saw Patchy in the box.

Patchy would probably run about $70ish. Depends on if I have to go buy more trim, though. Yuyu, though...oh God, she brings back bad memories. If I wanted to turn any sort of profit with her, she'd have to go for well over $100, since I had to spend over $50 just on trim and ribbon for her. However, if you wanted one without all the fancy stuff, that figure would drop way down.

My prices are not set in stone, though - I'll go lower if needed, especially during desperate times such as these.

Yeah...God, that was a mistake that's gonna haunt me till the end of my days.

Basically, I tried making like eight Alices at the same time while in the middle of an out-of-state move, and shit just got too out of hand, so I had to drop them for the sake my own sanity. That's why my policy is never to collect money until I have the thing done.
