If my Chinese is any good, I'd guess it has something to do with electric wind/thunder/storm. That last word means talking/speech, I think. Tell others you're as awesome as a storm?

Wasn't there a vague threat that one of the boards was going to get whacked? I'm glad /jp/ wasn't, but I can't tell which board was lost, if any.

I don't know why, but I raff'd. Are they trying to pretend the soy sauce is coca cola?

Thanks. I should have been more patient, instead of giving up after seeing that half this thread was "sage" "herp sage is bad" "sage is moderation" "troll" "nigger" etc

Ack, it's way too fast. FFR only has 4 buttons to worry about, and that was hard enough. Stupid keyboard isn't registering my button pushes because I was too slow ;_;

> It is an earnest effort towards a discussion
Isn't that a good thing? Few people writing intentionally inflammatory text? Voicing honest opinions without getting flamed?

What do you propose then, to keep this board "clean"? Surely, there's plenty of stuff on this board that is on topic, as well as over 9000 troll posts. Not everybody wants to spend the effort to go to another board to look up a subject matter with which they seek discussion. Besides, most of /jp/ is ronery, like real mathematicians. We can use Alice hugs too.

He's probably not as blameless as you suggest. The Jap royal family wasn't completely powerless until after WW2.
