I can only assume no one knows how to work netkaei, so I'll post some instructions for Adonis. It's super crappy and has practically no options but it works, whereas the PoFV netcode without it lags almost constantly unless you're in a LAN or something.

1) Update your PoFV to the latest version, 1.50a

2) Download and put Adonis in your PoFV folder:

3) Run Adonis. Should be straightforward from there. You pick whether you want to host or connect to someone, and you pick the ip and port. When someone connects to the host the host picks lag compensation level, lower is for better pings.

If you have trouble updating your PoFV, it's probably bitching at you for not being able to find a file because you downloaded it while in English mode or something and so the names are all messed up. You can dl the game again or I might be able to rs it if it's one of the readmes (yes, it checks for the readmes for who knows what reason)

Is it possible to set the 'charge' config for both players when you play a match against someone? Seriously everytime I tried to play with my buddy online, the game randomly allowed one player to use the 'charge' setup while the other person had to use the 'slow' one. It was usually me who got 'slow' and I hate tapping a button like a maniac for 10 minutes in order to shoot.

Any suggestions?

You mean this one? I'm using it to play both Touhou and Melty Blood and personally I think it's a great pad. The d-pad doesn't hurt your thumb even after you play for hours.
Overall it's very responsive.

My absolute favourite visual novel has to be Divi Dead. I was hooked up instantly/ It has a great storyline, but it's in TOTALLY different theme than Season Of Sakura. Anyway, if you don't mind a bit of violence and gore along with a dark atmosphere and some nice plot twists here and there then you should give it a try.

- There's no wallslam limit
Doesn't matter if there's scaled pushback. Having no limit just leads to retarded loops.

- OTG window too huge.
It's a really stupid combo extender functionality. It's basically like "Do your combo, then do the exact same combo again starting from an OTG hit!". It's just dumb.

- 75% life BnBs
When half the cast can take over half your life with just a bnb or 1-stock bnb there's something wrong.

- Broken Burst system
Some characters have limited cancel rules on moves/supers. The Burst (P-Escape) system makes it possible to burst on reaction to a flash for a guaranteed punish combo. This is ridiculous, I don't care what it costs it's just too fucking unbelievably stupid. - Airblock anything and everything except 5B?
As outlined in my previous post, being that there's no airthrows and any move in the game can be airblocked other than 5b makes chicken blocking and OSing way too stupid.

This game is VERY unblanaced. They released a few patched. One would think that it would be their best intention to try to balance the game but they made it even worse. What's even more funny is that the company that made this game split into two groups and none of them want to work further on this game. There are plans on the second BBB, but this will happen somewhere in the future.

The fighter is or rather could be good, but the lack of any support killed this game.
