The interesting thing about Cookie is that the entire subculture mostly bases itself on 'secondary tier' knowledge of Touhou Project.

In the past, Japanese fans of Touhou Project used to poke fun at Reisen for being 'newcomer bait' (新参ホイホイ) as newcomers and outsiders would be attracted to her kemonomimi design, so it's interesting to see analogues of Touhou Project's kemonomimi characters (i.e. HSI姉貴, NYN姉貴) becoming the center of attention for Cookie.

I'm still amused that "Adolf Hitler Loves Rumia" realized that he didn't like Rumia that much when he started lucid dreaming, so now there's a few images of Rumia and Hitler together without any context and people go "lol wtf look at this" every now and then.

The sixth Rumia-only doujin fair, Touhou Sonanoka 6, is on July 16, 2018. I haven't seen much about it, aside from Yoiyami Dreamer for the Nintendo Switch being previewed there and a bunch of souvenirs though.

For Lumia, it sounds close to 'lumen' or 'lumiere' which means 'light' and that contradicts with her being a dusk youkai, which kinda adds to the idea that EoSD is supposed to be a deochi. For Rumia, it's mostly just people saying that it's a real European name which fine since EoSD is supposed to have a European feel to it because it's a deochi.

Personally, I don't think this is that big of a deal since Eastern and Little Nature Deity even translated her name as Lumia before it was later revised to Rumia.

jet fuel is kerosene. the fuel tanks weren't filled to full capacity as the planes were only going to LA. the structural steel of the towers was arranged in a contacting grid manner. In other words, the entire tower served as a heatsink, so all the heat from the burning kerosene still would have been insufficient to heat the steel of the towers to the critical temperature for structural failure.

Those are 280g cans, so 24 of them is almost 7kg. EMS shipping would be about 10,700 yen, or about $100. SAL is only slightly cheaper, at 9400 yen. I don't have data about shipping by actual ship. And of course, the forwarder would have its own markup on this.

There are a couple of on-line specialty soda stores that list this, but they don't make their shipping rates visible to the casual browser. Domestic shipping of sodapop is much cheaper than transpacific shipping, though -- I've ordered Moxie from a New England goods store, and it wasn't outrageous.

And, even if you don't have an (east) Asian grocery where you live, there might be something within an hour or two of travel.
