i am signed up, i did a lesson a few years ago but it was just casual conversation, no real tutoring or anything, the guy said at the end he forgot he was speaking to a foreigner pretty much so i'm fine in terms of conversational ability and flow

i am thinking about finding a tutor who i can practice conversation with and get expert advice on pronunciation but then again i don't really need it right now, so it's very very low on my priority of things to do
maybe i'll do that a bit when i have concrete plans to go to japan, improving my english pronunciation would probably be more useful because english is something i occasionally use

well what you should probably do is just speak 24/7 until then and just get used to it as much as you can possibly can, that's the most important thing you can do reasonably achieve in 3 days
maybe learn a few typical interview phrases you can shit out, but other than that there is nothing

it's good in some areas but not so good in others from what i've seen, it's noticeably worse in out of context understanding than a human would be and it's worse at deconstructing a sentence, it does seem to be pretty good in casual conversation/when it can free-write but generally i wouldn't recommend using it to beginners

i admit in this case the remake isn't terrible, it's fine
but it's very different in a way i don't like, first of all the scene plays much slower, he talks with far less emotion, and his speech is far less inspirational and poetic, to me it feels incredibly cheapened down
