It frankly doesn't surprise me that a board largely frequented by Muggles simply fail to appreciate the value of the Magical universe and the story of Harry Potter and his time spent at Hogwarts. I am currently on my summer holidays, but when I return to Hogwarts in September I'm sure my fellow Hufflepuffs and I will spend many a night revealing how utterly dim-witted the Muggles in our lives have been these past several weeks when we were away from school.

May I be the first to condemn the frankly ignorant posts in this thread accusing us Hufflepuffs of being somehow obscure, ambivalent individuals with no distinctive qualities or virtues. We Hufflepuffs, it is true, tend to be calm, studious individuals who value respect and tolerance and who tend also to shy away from the violence or aggression others use to attain their goals. Have you by chance checked the most recent exam results pertaining to Herbology? Because if you had you would know that we are very academically inclined in those subjects closest to our hearts. I myself am currently earning fantastic marks in Divination and intend to pursue a career in the field at the Ministry of Magic. And who is it who volunteers to clean out the owl coop every week? And who is who tends for the various magical animals who are also resident in the Hogwarts grounds? It is we Hufflepuffs. We do so out of the goodness of our hearts, yet time and time again I hear it said that we are somehow weaker, or less capable of success than students belonging to the other houses at Hogwarts. That, sirs and madams, is just not true.

Suit yourself Tom, I hope Snape doesn't take points away for being late. We both know Ravenclaw need all the points they can get this year haha!

*speeds away*

Blimey, thanks! Remember we have Herbology after this so there'll be a new thread for that too!

Does anybody have some spare Doxy Eggs for my potion please? Looks like I've run out!

Heavens, Potions class is in 5 minutes! We'll never make it at this rate. Come on, hop on my broom and we'll be there in no time!

*taps the back of the broom*

Well? Are you coming?

Friends, I believe one of the Slytherins has set a curse on this thread to make it invisible to the majority of /lit/ users. Drat! Does anybody know where Ptolemy Peakes is? If anybody knows a counter-curse for this it's her!

Hello Harry! How's Ginny and the children? Are you still working at the Auror Department?

I hate to point it out but it looks like you entered Slytherin and not Gryffindor in your namefield! I bet there's a Slytherin around here somewhere fooling around with the mageware.

Great idea Ptolemy. We should get everyone sorted first!

OP here. I'm just brainstorming right now, but should I create four different threads so that each House can have its own thread?

Or should I create several threads each day for each lesson and break period?

Let me know your thoughts!

Yay. Remember to tap the barrels outside the common room correctly I was covered in vinegar recently when I was in a hurry and knocked the wrong ones by mistake!
