>A continued vision of myself in the future madingley alone and wildly successful in whatever it is that I make money doing. I start to feel depressed. Then I think I might never arrive there I could get hit by a truck tomorrow and never live that life. Wake up from a coma two years from now with no limbs, then what may my life be twenty years from now? The point is I can imagine many different courses through life from this point as I sit and stare out at the horizon. Though which one would I ever really enjoy? Would I miss the best opportunity of my life thinking of other options? Well sitting here staring out at the horizon certainly seems enough of a life understanding the potential hardships of those lives and the possible emotions that are involved guarantees sadness and joy.

Hi /lit/, I remember that last year a friend of mine gave me a list of books, there were some specifically about drugs and drug abuse (like Baudelaire, Thompson and stuff), there was one which he said was probably the first prose work about drug abuse (not Baudelaire's stuff tho).
Can you help me pls?

I eat a single meal of two McDoubles a day, spend half my weekly paycheck on travels alone, still haven't been able to save any money to pay for classes in college, and this weeks hours for work are dwindling because my work is dependent on people breaking their screens. For some reason, in winters, they tend to break less. I don't have any money to spare on $12, when I can't even pay for classes, which takes priority over a book I've wanted for years, and only recently found.

Been looking for this book since 10th grade. It made me enjoy breaking simple cipher texts and trying to understand newer-age, more complex systems of cipher.
It's called Elementary Cryptanalysis by Abraham Sinkov

I love lonely, aimless wandering, but I guess it's a choice for me and that makes it different

distracting yourself through duties will not solve your problems anon
>>10203215
not really what you're asking for but Rings of Saturn by Sebald is about lonely wandering (it's also a very, very good book imo)
