I also watch a fair bit of chick flicks, cry lots at movies in general, anddd... there's probably all kinds of character 'flaws'/'particulars' that I have, but who gives a shit?

I'm not pedantic though, IMO.
Thanks anyways.

You can read while high?

Seriously. I can't do anything that 'takes effort' while high.

People who are married and dating sit at home AFTER they're involved in their relationships.

I used to go out all the fuckin' time. Got hammered, picked up chicks at bars/pubs/clubs, etc. etc.

Once I got in a long term relationship... we just sit at home together now.

What is with this ridiculous attempts to attack people's self-esteem with shit posts like this?

If a girl doesn't like Judd Apatow movies, she can go shove her fist up her own ass because I'm not interested.

If she likes Godard, she has shit for brains and interests me as much as a baseball bat with epilepsy.

Guy on far right can tell the colour of the two guys' hats in the middle, which leaves one black and one white hat.

Guy on far left can't see his hat, and no one else can, so that's the one that has to be figured out.

The question remains, how can the guy on the far right figure out his hat colour, which would allow them to figure out what the guy's hat colour on the far left is...

And still assuming he can't look up to see his hat (what shitty top hats they're wearing...).

Really, he has a 50/50 chance of everyone living by guessing his hat colour... and we're assuming they don't know the colours are in alternating patterns...

It /was/ worded pretty shittily... I'm still confused, but, I'm assuming the guy on the left is the only one who has to tell his hat colour.

Is it possible for people to look the fuck up and see their hat colour?

While this thread is going on (with civilized and seemingly intelligent contributors), what is the best whiskey to buy for a first time try?

I mean, I've tried whiskey in the past of course, but looking for good suggestions on what to buy for my first 'bottle-to-myself whiskey'.

Taka approached the hut, his black cloak draped over his shoulders and his sword at the ready...

You see a stick.

You cannot pick up the stick.
>push stick
You cannot push stick.
>pull stick
You cannot pull stick.
>open stick
You cannot open stick.

Dark rum.

Almost always, Sailor Jerry's.
Drinking Kraken (see pic) by myself while watching Little Miss Sunshine and thinking about my Renaissance Drama exam tomorrow that I should be studying for... and my overdue essay on contemporary criticism of Poe.

I thought I had "(or more likely high school...)" after it... don't know where that went.

Also, I studied it in a first year intro to literature course.

I just looked at your actual books...

...I can tell that 90% of them are from university classes. Would you agree?
I have quite a few of the books that you do, all of which were part of university classes. Gatsby, Of Mice and Men, your anthology, etc. etc....

Please note that any girl you meet online will be crazy, so you have to be a bit crazy as well.
And that to find someone you actually have something in common with often takes time.

I never read the books... thought about it, after watching all the miniseries.

But let's be honest. The miniseries was /really bad/.
Each episode goes like this:
>starts out with obvious bad guy (always a horrible actor)
>bad guy keeps doing something stupid
>by the end, Hornblower saves the day, gains a rank, and bad guy dies - we usually are supposed to feel bad for said bad guy, as every man is tempted by vice
>acting is still bad and they use the same two ships for everything

Bookstores. Used book stores, specifically. Get a job at one if possible.
Author events.

Also helps not to take pictures of 'potentials' in public. Kinda creepy.

Can we equate worship to religion?

"In the day-to-day trenches of adult life, there is no such thing as atheism. There is no such thing as not worshipping. Everybody worships. The only choice we get is what to worship. And an outstanding reason for choosing some sort of god or spiritual-type thing to worship - be it JC or Allah, be it Yahweh or the Wiccan mother-goddess or the Four Noble Truths or some infrangible set of ethical principles - is that pretty much anything else you worship will eat you alive."
