At the very least you have to realize time will wash everything smooth the way the ocean washes the sand smooth on the beach anon.

If you want to help yourself though it helps if you try and be productive and attain goals like increasing your bench or lowering your mile time. Obviously other goals as well besides physical.

Generally living a healthy life helps.

You could also try and immerse yourself in new social relationships, throwing yourself into the dating world, or joining a new hobby group.

I leave this last because I’d put the least hope in it helping you, but media can genuinely inspire parts of your brain. A movie that genuinely helped me get out of the funk of derealization after a bad weed trip was Bill Murray’s 1997 movie The Man Who Knew too Little. For you it could be a book or a video game or album, or maybe there is none for you, I’m just saying when you feel it let it happen.
