What philosophy book has influenced your life the most and is something you find yourself rereading often?

How does one get into Continental Philosophy? Where should I start?

Are there any continental or post modern type philosophers worth reading for someone who hates them?

Can someone tell me something interesting they have learned from the continental theory types like Derrida/Deleuze/Foucault/Lyotard/ etc etc. With Analytics for example you can bring up specific branches of ethics and talk about things like Animal Ethics or talk about politics and actually bring up real concrete ways of progressing whatever changes they believe in but you don't really get anything like this from the continental types or if you do it's incredibly basic superficial lines that are easily refuted and obviously not well thought out.

What have continental philosophers provided to philosophy that we can use in actual conversations? With Analytics they have meta ethics, normative ethics, applied ethics all that fun stuff that we can use in daily conversation. Analytics politics is better too because it deals with what can actually be done. Continentals just have like retarded metaphysics shit that you can't use in conversation and you can only understand if you read the previous 2000 years of philosophy and you can't really have fruitful conversations even with people who do understand it.

What are some novels that would be considered in the Analytical camp?
