imo he wasnt pining for pussy as much as a feeling of dignity/belonging. His problems stemmed more from basic social isolation than from lack of sex, even though the latter was a consequence of the former. He was extremely prideful/neurotic and unwilling to reconcile his delusional idealized self image with his concrete predicament. He was unwilling to accept that yes he was essentially a "loser" but that being a loser is ok and he could work past it if he chose. There was not enough wiggle room in his conceptual framework and ultimately he gave in to his demons (to an extreme extent bc he was a psycho)
