/lit/ - Literature

I'm looking for some fantasy with literary merit.

So Mel Gibson has been trying to make a film out of this since the 90s.

The 60s film was awful.

I am hearing rumors of Brad Pitt and Ellen Page.

Here's my problem, /lit/. I am sort of in love with Clarisse.
I realized recently I subconsciously compare all girls to her.

If Fahrenheit becomes some huge hit movie, costarring Ellen Page as my beloved Clarisse McClellan...I will cry.

Luckily it's said to come out in 2012. So hopefully the Mayans are right.

ITT: I want a book thats not well known, and will move the fucking shit out of me. any suggestions?

Am I the only excited that they're working on a new "Fahrenheit 451" film? I just finished reading it for the zillionth time.
