I posted mine last thread but it's pretty barebones lol.

Top 5 of the year for me:
>Dark Age
>Golden Son
Red Rising Saga as a whole was an absolute gem, some of the most enjoyable scifi I've read recently
>Deadhouse Gates
Best I've seen of Malazan yet, I thought House of Chains would take its spot but the ending ruined that
>Dune
Enough said lol
>Ghost Brigades
Just an all around solid military scifi with a very cool idea about the consciousness of a fugitive being used as a base for a soldier in hopes of finding out crucial info said fugitive would only know

Biggest letdown:
>Name of the Wind
All the praise I've seen for KKC online probably led me to expect more than Mr. Piggy is capable of. This is probably one of the biggest wastes of time when it comes to what I've read this year.

Hidden Gem:
>Cyberpunk 2077: No coincidences
Although this isn't a perfect book as someone who adores the game it's such an excellent tie in novel. Highly recommend checking out to anyone who also enjoyed the game and Edgerunners wasn't enough spinoff goodness for you.
