These women are stunted adolescents. They rebel against a society they've projected their father issues onto. Society is telling them what to do with their bodies- this is just like when my dad wouldn't let me wear that short dress I really loved!
Thus they want to cause shock as much as possible to get back at their "father".
They don't realise in their desire to shock and offend they sell away their very humanity. To make a political message, they have resorted to celebrating the murder of their own children. Women didn't handle liberation as well as they think they did.
