Anybody else read this book? I think it was almost as good as 1984, should be required reading in schools to help stave off the socialists.

What do you think about Atlas shrugged?
I heard it's a pile of crap but i want more opinions.

I just read it a few months ago and it is as good as everyone says. As far as difficulty goes I found it pretty easy to read. If you have never read a Russian novel before the names might be tough but you will get used to it quicklu

Is Atlas Shrugged a good book? I am considering reading it and I'd like some opinions. /pol/ didn't like it.

So, what's you're general opinion on this book? Do you love it or hate it? And why?

Personally, i didn't finish it because I thought it was boring.

So, I'm gone from /lit/ for about a year, and I come back, and can't help but notice you faggots got a lot classier. It's like there was a purge or something.
What happened to all the tripfags? The high schoolers? All the preteen, Ayn Rand fangirls? I remember when every other thread was pic related.
Can't say I miss it really, it's just weird seeing such a lack of 'drama'. It's like all the ego is gone and there's a sort of void left in the community. Are we adults now?

I am about to start reading Atlas Shrugged and was wondering if any of you had some advice.
I am somewhat daunted by the book due to its sheer size.
How would you recommend tackling a book such as this?
Also for anyone who has read it, is it worth reading?

hello /lit/, it has been a while since I've read a book, and would like to read a couple of what people would say must reads but I don't have the time needed to tackle hundreds of pages of books, what i'm asking is how good/bad is the audiobook version of a book in terms of ruining the feeling or is it too summarized? etc. pic related, one of many books i'd like to read/listen

The story to me seems like something you could do in an average 300 pages.
