The Mistborn books, all six. There's at least one minor character from there too. And after those you can read most of Arcanum Unbound, or at least the parts with the worlds you are familiar with. It is at this point where the wordhopping is starting to get shown, and you see Wit (or Hoid) a bit more. You don't really need to read Elantris just yet, maybe years later when he possibly writes a sequel to it.
