What did you think of Tao's latest book?

>David Lunch, critically acclaimed filmmaker and consumer of sandwiches, began to reel and stagger under the blob, his chalk white face and faltering muscles attesting to the gigantic loss of blood. Saoirse Ronan slipped from David Lunch, celebrated cinematic visionary and purveyor of cold cuts, in a death-like faint, a morrow chilling scream upon her red rubish lips. In final desperation David Lunch, noted director and occasional eater of salads, grasped the smoldering torch upon the ground and plunged it into the reeking maw of the travestry. A shudder passed through the thing. David Lunch, winner of the 1990 Palme d'Or and lover of food items packed into a brown paper bag, felt the blackness closing upon his eyes, but held on with the last ebb of his rapidly waning vitality. He could feel its grip lessoning as a hideous gurgling sound erupted from the writhing maw. The jelly like mass began to bubble like a vat of boiling tar as quavers passed up and down its entire form.

eye' or him trying to be totally
and radically 'sincere' like an evil fortune-teller[1]
i really had just confused 'his' wikipedia
with clifton webb's[2]

[1] - here i was trying to make a play on words about the concept of "sin" and the last syllables 'homophone' of "seer." please tweet me of you understood this.

Pretty good imo, tho it has it's faults. Seems like the author was heavily influenced by this book during the writing process and it just left his own work sort of misshapen and unoriginal.
