So I've just finished reading Ender's Game, and was fairly disappointed with the ending. Has anyone read any of the other books in the series? Do you recommend them, or should i not waste my time?

What order should I read the Ender's Game series in? Publication date or chronological order?
I finished Ender's Game and am about a third of the way through Speaker for the Dead (second book in publication order, one of the last in chronological order). It feels like I am missing a lot of history they reference through the book. Is it better to continue reading through in publication order and pick up the historical context over time, or should I follow the chronological order?

I would go with "Ender's Game", then "Lucifer's Hammer" and "Cryptonomicon" last.

"Ender's Game" is paced well with good action sequences and should be make for an easy reentry into reading.

I haven't read "Lucifer's Hammer" but by the process of elimination I would place it second because "Cryptonomicon" is a tome that will tax your patience.
