Would you say this book and the whole accelerationist thing is worth the potential crazyness it could trigger? I already have it sitting on my shelf and it is next in line after i finish The Glass Bead Game and Anti-Oedipus I'm just not sure how wise it would be to feed my mind with Lemurian conspiracies when things are already so subjective and fluid. Part of me is tired of endlessly running after new perspectives and ideas and just wants to settle down in a "stable and objective" world but I'm no longer sure how to go about that and my curiosity tends to get the best of me. Should I give in,read the Bible and start going to church? Alternatively, what other interesting perspectives would you recommend to check out? Thanks in advance.

What is your opinion on pic related (and Land in general) as a way to provide alternative frameworks to abrahamism and its influence?
Discuss books that oppose abrahamic ideology ITT, preferably directly (not the skeptics/pyrrhonists).

I'm up to page 237 / The Tale of the Centipede of pic related and still have absolutely no idea what to make of this.

So far I'm thinking some key points are:
- Axsys is basically just an example of a singularity.
- Y2K is an example used to show that hyperstition exists and help you understand how it works vis a vis tech. Somehow this is related to time?

They keep bringing up Lemuria, which I think is related to Burroughs. What should I read to understand this discussion of Lemuria and time better? I feel like there is some key piece of prerequisite information that I have missed out on. I've never read any Burroughs, but nearly all of Lovecraft's popular stuff... should I have read a lot of Burroughs? The authors keep referring to them and/or to concepts that I get the impression are inspired by them.

The numerous occult references are obviously important but despite reading the wiki pages for these concepts I can't get a grasp on how they're related to CCRU's thesis on cybernetics.

Kind of a disorganised post, sorry. I just want some help understanding how to interpret these essays.

Is this worth a read? I'm mostly interested in the fiction side rather than the philosophy (though I am interested in both)
Really I'm just looking for long form fiction set in the world described by Land in Meltdown

Is this mainly theory fiction? I've read tons of articles and #Accelerate but will I be able to read this book without any background in occult books? I'm assuming its mainly theory fiction but I don't know if it requires heavy reading of stuff prior any help?
