Post your best books on religion. Can be secular or religious books themselves.
Especially interested in more obscure religions that nonetheless had a huge impact, like Zoroastrianism, Manichaenism, Gnosticism and Mithraic cults etc.

Since the concept of the midwit has been conceived, ive become interested in learning more about the usefullness and truthfullness of "common sense", as in the things that are held truth by the vast majority of people, especially those who are uneducated. For example, they might not hold certain opinions because they really thought about it, but these opinions might nonetheless have a very beneficial evolutionary advantage. Like how emotions of disgust tie into cleanliness and aversion to disease, how racism and tribalism are evolutionary winning strategies, etc.

Ive read The Righteous Mind and it touches on it as an evolutionary advantage, and i want to know more.
Pic somewhat related, it's a hillbilly.

No, because if you use words like "BTFO" or "Debunked" then it'll lure people in who want to prove you wrong, while the thread would otherwise be ignored. It's one of the better ways to make sure a thread gets replies, besides using coomer pics or elephant pics.
