You own headcanon on the biggest religion the world has seen does not change how it has been read since it was penned. As i said, every Christian theologian, leader and authority has always sided with a brother in christ against a brother in blood who was not a believer.

Im not shitting on the faith as a whole, most of the figures i admire werr devout Christian men. But to claim there is a blood & soil mentality is flat out wrong.

Instead what will happen, was always happens, what is happening now is the sheer corruption, lies, cheating, stealing, violence, ineptitude and gross negligence has destroyed the publics faith in the democratic model, in liberalism. So right we are between that miserable period where a charismatic leader appears with an ever expanding group of hard men and the violent readjustment of society begins.

Remember, it is always the journalists, the pornographers, the speculators, the bankers, the homosexuals, the profiteers, the parlimentarians, the critics and the gross land owners that hang first, regardless of of whom takes over. With twitter and facebook we have the easiest means ever to identify those groups. And guess what chosen people are overrepresented in all of them?

Ted has some valid concerns that have played out as predicted but he was a highly intelligent man who was subsequently broken by vicious actions. Collectivising by ethnicity can provide a great deal of comfort, safety, and strength for many people suffering from a disconnection of society.

There are plenty of abstractions associated with it. Loyalty, honor, family. All of these abstract concepts can be further built upon. None of them have any real meaning anymore, each is repeatedly beaten when it is celebrated.
