for the first half of my life i used to think in jungian psychology (conscious, unconscious), until i read the greeks and now i think in platonist psychology (appetite, thumos, reason). the transition was pretty much seamless.

anyone else has down this? do you think it was an improvement?

I wonder why the publicized extremums are national socialism and communism---both populist and thereby liberal ideologies---and the moderate center is democracy, a populist liberal ideology.
