I was gonna call you a pleb and a major cocksuck but you're too earnest and articulate. To be fair, Loboe is a niche within a niche, an acquired taste if you will. It took me some time to get into his style too, but when I did I was completely taken in.

I have no idea what's in the chart albeit having been here for a while, but you seem to need to read more in the genre before you actually get to the harder stuff.

>goodreads
Don't bother, that's just fuel for /outerlit/ tards' autistic rage.

Go for Herbert's bibliography. You already read Dune I assume, so go for Destination Void, White Plague, Dossadi Experiment, Dragon in the Sea, etc. Move on to our gal Ursula LeGuin, she's a nice mix of character feefees, ideas and plot.

The true test is Dick. If you like PKD you'll very likely drench yourself in scifi of all genres and types because although he does not hold the influence Asimov, Clarke and Asimov on the genre, his ideas and style are some of the deepest and dreadfully existential stuff you'll ever read.

You seem to enjoy fantasy, which I generally avoid so I can't tell you shit about that.

No, but imagine how bored you were as a Frenchie reading Messiah based on the cover
