Does /lit/ like the Dexter novels? I'm currently reading the first one, and it's fun as shit. I've heard that it goes downhill really fast, tho.

So /lit/ I'm in need of an expert opinion. I normally read mostly classics, but I've been thinking of picking up the Darkly Dreaming Dexter series. I don't usually like crime novels, but then again I didn't think I would like the Dexter TV show, yet I'm now obsessed with it. Can anyone vouch for the series? From what I've heard the books are somewhat lackluster...

hey /lit/ can anyone recommend a good novel kind of like Dexter...i thought this book was OKAY...but the show is better..
