OP did not as for images related to books, just images gotten off of /lit/. But in those days it was common to use a scantily clad lady as a way to keep your thread in the catalog while you slept or went about your day, etc, essentially "you don't care about my thread on <obscure lit topic> but if you liked pic unrelated you could still give me a bump." But then incels happened and then trad larpers happened.

This is my favorite Goodreads review. It has everything, and I'm sure at least one of you has read this book

This is probably my favorite one from the past few years. Not only does the reviewer grossly misunderstand the book, she has a hard time believing both that people live outside of the city and that their lives are different
