My professor for my online English class is making us take exams with our webcams on. We even have to show photo ID to prove it’s really us and rotate the webcam around our work space to prove we don’t have any books or notes. I’ve been taking online classes for over a year now and no other professor has made us do any of this. I hate professors who take their job seriously, and it’s almost always English or science professors who do. Nobody is taking this class because they want to or because it will be helpful to them in their future career. They’re taking it because universities force us to take general education classes that have nothing to do with our major so they can milk as much money out of us as possible.
