>Why yes, I do consider all social interactions from the standpoint of utility - friendship is an adolescent fantasy, whereas networking helps me optimize my career results and become fitter, happier and more productive, how could you tell?

Why yes, I used to feel bad about not reading many books, I realized recently I don't actually read less than other humans in history. 99% of my time is reading 4chan, wikipedia, or documentation (software engineering), and rarely a random book, how could you tell?

>Correct. I do believe that progress without further qualification is the summum bonum and the best we can aspire to. Dedicating 12 hours a day of my life studying and working with chemical engineering has finally paid off, in that I have discovered a novel silicone coating that allows the company I work for to produce buttplugs 0.02% cheaper. How did you know this?

>test
>improve
>reading a book is not enough
>truly grasp it
>flash cards.

Why yes, that is correct, I do indeed engage with art as if I was taking a test of certification at an approved institution of education, and I do this for a minimum of 30 minutes a day to efficiently optimize my cultural capital, what sort of algorithm or heuristic made you capable of discerning this information?

>100% fiction As I've stated many times before, philosophy readers are braindead niggers who can't think for themselves. I can however agree with reading maths and science books as discovering/inventing things in them actually requires above average intellect. As for me, I read science only for utility and have stopped reading maths because I realised I don't like maths in itself, and therefore "studying" it, but as a challange, a puzzle and a potential personal discovery, so therefore now I just figure things out myself.

>What is the point of reading useless masturbatory shit like fiction, poetry, and philosophy that have no practical value instead of reading something useful like a CS textbook, economics/finance textbook, science textbook, or hell even a self help book?
