Every civilization had slaves. Only one ever got rid of de jure slavery, and worldwide even. Most never even considered it. Oppressed people are clever/cynical enough to side with whoever promises the most, and immediate, spoils for their tribe. They don't trust long-term promises, as those have been shown to be worthless. And unlike your partisan claims, they realize neither side wants them dead but also neither side really cares about them either. You are disingenuous or a fool.

I've seen it discussed a few times that in antiquity Plato was taught in a particular order starting with First Alcibiades. What were the other dialogues taught and what order were they taught?
