it'd harm your fragile ego, you'd end up cheating on her in an attempt to prove that you aren't an impotent wretch, she'd find out, you'd break up, you'd become the mgtow fuck you were always mean to be

"thank you in advance" would the be most conventional way of saying it, but "much obliged" can be used before or after an action and means the same thing.

vonnegut and salinger are awesome for learning vocabulary and varied sentence structure, respectively. if you've read any translations of english works, i'd tackle reading the original.

i've never lived in the south and everyone i interact with regularly speaks with clear intonation and i had an incredibly easy time adapting to the dialect. maybe you're just worse at reading than i am, but calling it "unintelligible" simply because you can't get through it is irrational.

it probably sounds "dumb" because you're an elitist, if we're being honest. "Love is like the sea, it's a moving thing" sounds exactly as not dumb as "Love is lak de sea, it's uh movin' ting"

>This would imply that the vast majority of people spoke such broken English which is ridiculous.
it actually doesn't imply that at all but i can see how you would think that because you clearly know nothing about the evolution of language

actually think about the points you are making before you say them, you might be pleasantly surprised when you come up with something worthwhile
