just looked up the book on amazon out of curiosity, I thought it was going to just be some cute little nip lady's quaint take on cleaning your house mixed with a bit of exotic east asian flavor, but instead the intro reads like a sleezy used car salesman ghostwriter, complete with "people from my paid courses say" etc., and assuring you over and over again that this WILL WORK. ugh, that's a nah for me dawg.

I bought a pipe to enjoy in the comfort of my own solitude. I love it. It's a pain to get into because they're very high maintenance. But I only smoke alone or with close friends. Smoked it at my old campus and despite overwhelmingly positive feedback (You're literally a boss, the classiest person I know, ect.) it does get very old, very fast. (fyi: not a neckbeard, having a really really nice, lengthy well trimmed beard probably helped keep criticism away). And everyone is going to want to "take a rip" and slobber all over your nice expensive Savinelli.

Buy a pipe and enjoy it for what it is. A nice smooth light casual smoke. Don't do it for the ascetic appeal. It's expensive, time consuming and not worth it just for looks.
